Truckee Meadows Water Reclamation Plant Facilities

TMWRF is a 40 MGD plant which treats on an average of 30 million gallons per day. Each step of the treatment process requires specialized buildings to make treatment possible.

In this section we provide a schematic of TMWRF which shows the locations of each building and a small description on the functions of these buildings. The new schematic includes buildings that were added or modified during the expansion project that started in March of 2002. This updated schematic of TMWRF also shows the additional modifications that will be performed during the next phase of our expansion project. Also included in this section is a link to what TMWRF looked like before the expansions.
